Apply Online for NCC Special Entry Scheme 49th Course (Apr 2021) for 55 Posts
Applications are invited from unmarried males and unmarried females to join NCC Special Entry Scheme 49th Course (Apr 2021). Candidates fulfilling the details given below can apply for the posts before the last date-
Age Limit- For NCC candidates (including wards of Battle Casualties) 19 to 25 years as on 01 Jan 2021 (born not earlier than 02 Jan 1996 and not later than 01 Jan 2002)
Education Qualification-Degree of a recognized University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all the years. Those studying in final year are also allowed to apply provided they have secured a minimum 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years of three/four years degree course respectively.
Candidates Should have served for a minimum of three academic years in the senior Division/Wing of NCC.
Total Posts (Male)- 50 (45 for General Category and 05 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Army personnel only)
Total Posts (Female)- 05 (04 for General Category and 01 for Wards of Battle Casualties of Army personnel only).
Time of Service- Short Service Commission will be granted to Male and Female in the Regular Army for 14 years i.e. for an initial period of 10 years extendable by a further period of 04 years.
Probation Period-An officer will be on probation for a period of 6 months from the date, he/she receives his/her commission.
Training Time-Duration of training is 49 weeks at OTA, Chennai.

- Click on ‘Officer Entry Appln/Login’ and then click ‘Registration’ (Registrations not required if already registered on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in).
- Fill the online registration form after reading the instructions carefully.
- After getting registered, click on ‘Apply Online’ under Dashboard.
- A page ‘Officers Selection - ‘Eligibility’ will open.
- Then click ‘Apply’ shown against Short Service Commission NCC Special Entry Course.
- A page ‘Application Form’ will open.
- Read the instructions carefully and click ‘Continue’ to fill details as required under various segments.
- After completing all the steps, Candidates need to click on 'Submit Now'.
- The candidates are required to take out two copies of their application having Roll Number, 30 minutes after the final closure of the online application on the last day.
