Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has released recruitment for the post of Assistant Public Relation Officer and Horticulture Development Officer Post 2021. Eligible candidates can apply for the post before the last date.

Post Name- Assistant Public Relation Officer and Horticulture Development Officer

Total Posts- 18 Posts (Assistant Public Relation Officer- 03, Horticulture Development Officer- 15)

Age- 18-45 yrs

Education Qualification 

(i) For Assistant Public Relation Officer- Bachelor Degree in Journalism and Mass Communication/ Public Relations/ Public Relations &Advertising from a recognized University. 

(ii) For Horticulture Development Officer- M.Sc. in Horticulture/Agriculture.

Pay Scale- Rs.10300-34800 + Rs. 4200 (G.P.)

Fees- Rs.400/- for Unreserved Category Candidates and Rs.100/- for Reserved Category Candidates.

Selection Process-  Candidates will be selected on the basis of Pre Exam, Mains Exam, and Interview/Personality Test.

Important Points

The reserved category candidates belonging to other States will be treated as "General Category Candidates" and the benefit of reservation and fee concession will not be admissible to such candidates. 

The number of posts is/are tentative and may increase or decrease from time to time.

Examination fees once paid will not be refunded.

List of documents to be uploaded on the Online Registration portal by the candidates:-

  1. Matriculation certificate for age proof.
  2. Degree certificate along with Marks Sheets of all years in support of educational Qualifications.
  3. Category certificate(s).
  4.  Bonafide Himachali Certificate in case of reserved category candidates.
