National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has released recruitment for the post of Professor on Contract basis and Deputation basis. Eliglible candidates can apply for the post before the last date and also read all the details carefully before applying for the post.

Post Name- Professor

Total Posts- 42 Posts (Contract Basis- 21, Deputation Basis- 21)

Age- Max 50 yrs as on the closing date of the application.

Qualification- (i) Professor (Contract Basis)- PhD in relevant subject and Minimum 15 yrs experience in concerned field. (ii) Professor (Deputation Basis)- Teaching Faculty in any recognized University/Institution under the Central Govt. / State Govt., holding analogous post on regular basis.

Pay Scale- Level-13, Rs.37,400- 67,000 with Grade Pay Rs.8, 700/-

Application Fees- Rs.1180 and No Fees for SC/ST/PH/Women/NIFT Employees.

Selection Process- Selection shall be on the basis of the performance in the personal interview or any other criteria fixed by the NIFT.

How to Apply- The application along with relevant documents self-attested copies in support of qualification, experience, age, caste certificate (where applicable) and non-refundable demand draft(where applicable) on account of application fee may be forwarded to “The Registrar, NIFT Campus, Hauz Khas, Near Gulmohar Park, New Delhi- 110016”.

Important Points

The period of deputation shall be three years.

Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates would be as per applicable GoI Rules.  

Persons with disabilities (PWD) fulfilling the eligibility conditions are encouraged to apply.  

List of Documents need to send with the Application Form-

a) Integrity Certificate (in original).

b) Vigilance Clearance Certificate (in original).

c) Attested photocopies of the APARs of last five years (2015-16 to 2019-20).
