SAIL Recruitment 2021 for 46 Posts of Medical Officers and Medical Specialists in various Trades

Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has released recruitment for the post of Medical Officers and Medical Specialists in various Trades. Eligible candidates can apply for the post before the last date and also read all the details carefully before applying for the post.

Post Name- Medical Officers (26 Posts) and Medical Specialists (20 Posts)

Total Posts- 46 Posts

Age- Maximum 34 yrs for Medical Officer and 41 yrs for Medical Specialist as on 30.04.2021.

Qualification- (i) Medical Officer- MBBS/BDS in relevant field with 01 yrs experience. (ii) Medical Specialist- PG Degree in relevant field with 03 yrs experience.

Pay Scale- (i) Medical Officer- Rs.20,600-46,500/ Rs.24,900-50,500. (ii) Medical Specialist- Rs.32,900-58,000.

Application Fees- General/ OBC/ EWS- Rs.500, SC/ ST/ PWD/ ESM/ Departmental Candidate- No Fees.

Selection Process- Selection will be through Written Examination/ Computer Based Test (CBT) and interview.

How to Apply- Eligible and interested candidates should send their duly filled in application as per the prescribed application format furnishing details with latest passport size coloured photograph with cross signed in full signature pasted on it along with the self-attested copies of following documents-

• Date of Birth [Matriculation or equivalent certificate].
• Educational / Professional Qualification.
• Caste/Category certificate, if applicable.
• Valid Registration Certificate issued by Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council/ DCI.
• Experience Certificate showing relevant post qualification experience (issued by the employer).
• Receipt copy of SBI Challan towards payment of Application Fee (only in case of General/ OBC/ EWS).
• Photo Identity Proof (Voter ID / Aadhaar Card / Passport / Driving License/ PAN Card).
• NOC from present employer, if employed under PSUs/Autonomous Bodies/Govt. Department.

Important Points

Application format is given in the official notification and candidates can download the application format from it.

Candidates should retain their copy of Pay in Slip (SBI Challan) as they can be asked to produce it for future reference.

The candidates, after selection, can be posted in any of the mines of SAIL-RMD mentioned in the advertisement, where vacancy exists.

The SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PWD/EWS certificate should be as per the format applicable for employment under Central Government. 

The minimum age of employment on regular basis in SAIL-RMD is 18 years.

Candidates selected will be placed on training for one year. After successful completion of training, the candidates shall be placed under probation for one year.
