Total Posts: 2112

Age: 18- 40 yrs as on 01.01.2021

Qualification: 12th Pass with the minimum of 50% marks and 02 yrs Diploma in Elementary Education or equivalent.

Pay Scale: Rs.14,000- 60,500/- with Grade Pay and Other Allowances

Details of Posts for Asst Teacher in Upper Primary (UP) Schools

Total Posts: 7242

Age: 18- 40 yrs as on 01.01.2021

Qualification: B.Sc./Graduate in Relevant Subject and 02 yrs Diploma in Elementary Education/ B.Ed. or equivalent.

Pay Scale: Rs.14,000- 60,500/- with Grade Pay and Other Allowances

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained by them in their education qualification and final selection will be made on the basis of Merit prepared by the department.

Important Points

The applicants, who have passed the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) and going to qualify for the test in Oct 2021 will be eligible for this recruitment.

The Merit List will be prepared for every district.

Age relaxation will be provided to the reserve category candidates as per the official rules.

If any person has more than 02 children's then he/she will not be eligible for this recruitment.
