• Age- For appointment on absorption basis- Max 56 yrs, For appointment on direct recruitment basis- Max 42 yrs
• Qualification- Engineering Degree in relevant field with the minimum of 10 yrs experience or equivalent
• Pay Scale- Level-12, Rs.78800- 209200/-

• Post Name- Member Technical Staff – E-II (Scientist ‘C’)
• Total Posts- 01
• Age- For appointment on direct recruitment basis- Max 36 yrs
• Qualification- Engineering Degree in relevant field with the minimum of 10 yrs experience or equivalent 
• Pay Scale- Level-11, Rs.67700- 208700/-

• Post Name- Member Technical Staff - E-I (Scientist ‘B’)
• Total Posts- 11
• Age- For appointment on direct recruitment basis- Max 30 yrs
• Qualification- Engineering Degree in relevant field or equivalent
• Pay Scale- Level-10, Rs.56100- 177500/-

Total Posts- 14

Application Fees- Rs.500/- by Net Banking/ UPI/Demand Draft/ Indian Postal Order (IPO). There will be No Fees for SC/ST/PH/Female Category Candidates.

Selection Process- Candidates will be selected on the basis of Interview Test. For the Post of Member Technical Staff, E-I (Scientist ‘B’) selection will be made by Written Test followed by the Interview.

Important Points

All posts are contract basis and valid for a period of 03 years, which can be extended in the future according the performance of the candidate.

Reserved category candidates will get the relaxation in age limit as per government rules.

List of Remote Area is- Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Union Territory of Ladakh, Lahaul and Spiti District and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep.

Age shall be reckoned as on last date of receipt of application.

Selected candidates can be placed at any of the center of STPI.
