Workers' Daughters will Get One Lakh Rupees for Marriage in Uttar Pradesh under Girl Marriage Assistance Scheme

The Uttar Pradesh government will soon give one lakh rupees in the marriage of workers and this amount will be even more in mass marriages. 1.43 Crore workers will get the benefit of this scheme and UP Government has included it in their 100 days working scheme. 

Labour Department, currently giving worker's daughters this amount in 02 forms. In Single Marriage, Workers get Rs.55,000/- and Rs.65,000/- in Mass Marriages. To promote Mass Marriages, Rs.10,000/- is given for the dress of the Groom and Bride and Rs.7,000/- for other arrangements. In Mass Marriages, Government is spend a total of Rs.82,000/-.

Now Workers' Daughters will get Rs.1,00,000/- for Single Marriages and Rs.1,17,000/- for Mass Marriages. For more updates, please check the official website of UP Government.
