Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has recently invited application for the post of Scientific Assistant, Sub Officer and Nurse in BARC, Mumbai, GCNEP, Haryana and RMRC, Kolkata. Total Number of Vacancies are 36.

Minimum age limit for all posts is 18 yrs and maximum age limit for Sub Officer post is 40 yrs and 30 yrs for other posts. Reserved category candidates will get the reservation benefits as per the Government rules.

Educational Qualification

1.) Nurse/A: 12th and Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery+Valid Registration as Nurse from State/Central Nursing Council of India/B.Sc. (Nursing)/Nursing 'A' Certificate with 3 yrs Exp. in Hospital.

2.) Scientific Assistant/B(Pathology): B.Sc. with 60% marks and PG Diploma in Medical Lab with 60% marks or B.Sc. (Medical Lab Technology) with 60% marks.

3.) Scientific Assistant/B (Nuclear Medicine Technologist): B.Sc. with 60% marks, DMRIT/DNM/DFIT with 50% marks or B.Sc. (Nuclear Medicine Technology) with 60% marks.

4.) Scientific Assistant/C(Medical Social Worker): PG Degree in Medical Social Work with 50% marks.

5.) Sub Officer/B: 12th (Science with Chemistry) with 50% marks and Sub-Officer's Course from National Fire Service College, Nagpur and 12 yrs Exp.

6.) Scientific Assistant/B (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engg. with 60% marks.

Pay Scale (Entry Pay)

Nurse/A and Scientific Assistant/C(Medical Social Worker)- Rs.44900/-

Other Posts- Rs.35400/-

Application Fee is Rs.150/- and there will be No Fee for SC/ST/PH/Women category candidates.

Selection will be made on the basis of Preliminary Test, Advanced Test, Skills Test and Physical Assessment Test.
