Age- 26 to 65 yrs as on 01.07.2023.

Qualification and Experience

(i) Professor- MD/MS in the concerned subject with minimum of 8 yrs Post PG experience. Associate Professor in the subject for 3 years in a permitted/approved/ recognized medical college/institution. Should have at least four Research publications. Should have completed the Basic course in Medical Education Technology from Institution(s) designated by NMC. Should have completed the Basic course in biomedical research from Institution(s) designated by NMC.

(ii) Associate Professor- MD/MS in the concerned subject with minimum of 5 yrs Post PG experience. Assistant Professor in the subject for 4 years in a permitted/approved/ recognized medical college/ institution. Should have at least two Research publication. Should have completed the Basic course in Medical Education Technology from Institution(s) designated by NMC. Should have completed the Basic course in biomedical research from Institution(s) designated by NMC.

(iii) Assistant Professor- MD/MS in the concerned subject. One year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognized/ permitted medical college. 

Pay Scale

Professor- Academic Level-14, Entry Pay Rs.1,44,200/-

Associate Professor- Academic Level-13A, Entry Pay Rs.1,31,400/-

Assistant Professor- Academic Level-11, Entry Pay Rs.68,900/-
