SSC CGL Exam Group B & C Posts Bharti 2024 for 17,727 Posts, Check Details of Posts, Age, Qualification, Exam & Syllabus

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination from 24.06.2024 (Monday) for 17,727 Vacancies.SSC has also released the official notification on its website. The closing date of the application is 24.07.2024. The last Date for submitting the application fee is 25.07.2024 (11:00 APM) and Candidates can modify their application from 10.08.2024 to 11.08.2024.

SSC CGL Exam will fill out the positions of Group B & C posts in different Ministries of Central Government, Departments and Offices. Under this recruitment process, Group B Posts are Assistant Section Officer, Inspector Central Excise, Inspector Imperative Officer, Inspector Examiner, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Sub Inspector in CBI & NIA, Sub Inspector in Narcotics Control Bureau, Tax Assistant and Group C Posts are Auditor, Accountant, Tax Assistant with 34 more posts. The number of positions may increase or decrease in the future.

The age limit is 18-32 years. SC-ST, OBC & PH category candidates have been given relaxation in age limit.

The essential qualification for these posts is Graduation with other required skills/experience, also given in the official notification.

Tier-1 Exam will be 200 Marks: The CGL Tier-1 Exam will be conducted between September-October 2024 and the Tier-2 Exam in December 2024. Tier-1 exam will carry 200 marks and 100 questions of General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitive Aptitude, and English Comprehension and each subject will carry 25-25 questions. Half number will be deducted for one wrong answer.

SSC CGL Exam will be conducted in 13 cities of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. Some of them are Bhagalpur in Bihar, Muzaffarnagar, Patna, Purnia and Agra, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Jhansi, Kanpur, Lucknow, Meerut, Prayagraj and Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
