Office of the District Basic Education Officer, Gorakhpur has recently invited application for various teaching and non-teaching positions in 20 different Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) of Gorakhpur on a contract basis for a period of 11 months and 29 days, extendable based on the performance of the candidate. Important Points

Candidates need to provide original documents and certificates at the time of interview/final selection.

Reserved category candidates will get reservation benefits as per government rules.

The number of positions may increase or decrease as per the requirement of the staff in the school/ college.

It is mandatory for a computer instructor to have Diploma/Certificate in Computer Application also from a valid DOEACC registered institute.

All posts are contract basis and valid for 11 months and 29 days, Which can be extended in the future depends upon the performance of the candidate.

Part-Time/Full-Time Teacher selection will be made on the basis of Merit prepared by the Selection Committee.

The selection for the post of Chief Cook, Asst Cook, Peon and Watchmen will be made on the basis of interview and Health Certificate issued by Chief Medical Officer for Physical Fitness also required.
