AIIMS Recruitment for 121 Posts of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Gorakhpur has released recruitment for the post of Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. Eligible candidates can apply for the post before the last date and also read all the details carefully before applying for the post.

Post Name- Professor, Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor.

Total Posts- 121 posts (Professor- 27, Additional Professor- 19, Associate Professor-29, Assistant Professor-46)

Age- For Professor/Additional Professor- Maximum 58 yrs and for Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor- Maximum 50 yrs as on the last date of the application.

Educational qualification- A medical Qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 and A postgraduate qualification e.g., MD/MS With the Required Experience.

Pay Scale- (i) Professor- Rs.37,400-67,000+AGP Rs.10,500/- (6 th CPC) (ii) Additional Professor- Rs.37,400-67,000+AGP Rs.9,500/- (6 th CPC) (iii) Associate Professor- Rs.37,400-67,000+AGP Rs.9,000/- (6 th CPC) (iv) Assistant Professor- Rs.15,600-39,100+AGP 8,000/- (6 th CPC).

Fees- General (UR)/ OBC /EWS Candidates- Rs.3000/- and SC/ST/ Women’s/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities Candidates- Rs.200/-

Selection Process- Based on details of the candidate, the Screening Committee may short- list candidates for interview. Interviews will be held at AIIMS Gorakhpur or any other place as decided by the Executive Director, AIIMS, Gorakhpur.

Important Points

4% of the total vacancies is horizontally reserved for Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD)-OPH (OL) category candidates as permissible under the Rules.

Reservation for Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs) shall be applicable as per Govt. of India Rule.

The cut-off date to determine the maximum age limit, essential qualifications & experience will be the last date of submission of online application.

Relaxation of One-year Teaching/Research experience for SC/ST candidates in Faculty selection will be given as per Rules/Guidelines issued by DoPT.

The period of experience wherever prescribed shall be counted after obtaining the prescribed qualification.

The Candidate must ensure that their photo and signature should be clearly visible in preview at the time of filling of application in online mode.

The period of probation is two years.
