Join Indian Army SSC Recruitment 2021 for 191 Vacancies- Apply Online

Applications are invited from eligible unmarried Male & unmarried Female Engineering Graduates and also from Widows of Defence Personnel who died in harness for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army. The course will commence in Oct 2021 at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Details of Vacancies

i) SSC(Tech)-57 Men- 175 Vacancies

ii) SSCW(Tech)-28- 14 Vacancies

iii) Widows of Defence Personnel Only- 02 Vacancies

Age Limit

i) For SSC(Tech)- 57 Men and SSCW(Tech)- 28 Women- 20 to 27 years as on 01 Oct 2021.

ii) For widows of Defence Personnel who Died in Harness Only- A maximum of 35 years of age as on 01 Oct 2021.

Education Qualification

Candidates who have passed the requisite Engineering Degree course or are in the final year of Engineering Degree course are eligible to apply.

Duration of Training- 49 weeks. 

Pay Scale- as per Indian Army rule.

Selection Process- Candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam/ skill test/ medical exam.
