UP Police SI & ASI Recruitment 2021 for 1329 Posts- Check Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), Lucknow is going to conduct a recruitment exam for Clerk, PSI and Other Posts. Eligible candidates can apply for the post by submitting the application online before 22 July 2021.

UP Police ASI & SI Recruitment 2021- Exam Pattern

• Written Exam.
• Physical Fitness Test.
• Computer Typing Test (according to the post).
• Stenography Test (according to the post).
• Medical Test.
• Personality Test.

The written exam will be Computer Based (CBT) and it has 04 segments, each segment will carry 100 marks. Check the details given below-

• General Hindi/ Computer Knowledge- 100 Marks
• General Knowledge/ Current Affairs- 100 Marks
• Mental Ability & Numerical Test- 100 Marks
• Reasoning/ Mental Aptitude Test- 100 Marks
• Total- 400 Marks

The language of the question paper will be in Hindi and English and question paper will be objective type.

Minimum cut-off marks will be 35%  in a single subject and minimum 40% in all subjects.

General Hindi- हिन्दी व्याकरण का मौलिक ज्ञान- हिन्दी वर्णमाला, तद्भव-तत्सम, पर्यायवाची, विलोम, अनेकार्थक, वाक्यांशों के स्थान पर एक शब्द, समरूपी भिन्नार्थक शब्द, अशुद्ध वाक्यों को शुद्ध करना, लिंग, वचन, कारक, सर्वनाम, विशेषण, क्रिया, काल, वाच्य, अव्यय, उपसर्ग, प्रत्यय, सन्धि, समास, विराम-चिन्ह, मुहावरे एवं लोकोक्तियां, रस, छन्द, अलंकार आदि

Computer Knowledge- Basic Knowledge of Computer, History of Computers, Algorithm, Flowchart & number system, MS Office, Short-cut Keys, Programming Language, Internet, web design, basic knowledge of hardware and software, Networking etc.

Current Affairs- राष्ट्रीय तथा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय विषय, राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय संगठन और संस्थाए, विमुद्रीकरण, साइबर क्राइम, रेल बजट, सिन्धु जल समझौता, रियो ओलम्पिक, वस्तु एवं सेवाकर, देश, राजधानी और उनकी मुद्रायें, पुस्तक और उनके लेखक, सोशल मीडिया, इंटरनेट बैंकिंग आदि
