Free Sugar for Antyodaya Ration Card Holders till March 2022

There is a good news for Antyodaya Ration Card Holders of Uttar Pradesh. Antyodaya Ration Card Holders will get free sugar from ration shops by the Uttar Pradesh government till March 2022. Till now all the antyodaya ration card holders were getting sugar at the rate of Rs.18 per kg. Now the Yogi government has made it completely free.

About 40 lakh Antyodaya Ration Card holders will benefit from this decision of the government. At present, the rate of sugar on private shops in Uttar Pradesh is around Rs.40 per kg, which is really high for a poor man. The intention of the government is to give benefit to all these people through this scheme.
