Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) will recruit 1.10 Lakh Teachers in classes 6th to 12th in different schools of Bihar affiliated with the Education Department from 3 November to 14 November 2023. After submitting the application, candidates need to appear in the exam within one month, which will be from 7 December to 12 December 2023.

Vacancies for the post of Teachers and Principal will also be released at the same time for the schools run under the Backward Class and Most Backward Class Welfare Department. The Secretary of BPSC Mr. Ravi Bhushan released this information on Friday (27.10.2023).

Some positions, that are vacant in the present recruitment for 1.70 Lakh posts for classes 9th to 12th will also be added to this upcoming recruitment process and after that, the total number of vacancies will be 1.10 Lakh.

According to the BPSC, only 23701 candidates have been selected from 57602 posts in classes 11th and 12th, which means 33501 posts are still vacant. In classes, 9th and 10th 26204 posts have been filled from 32916, which means 6712 posts are still vacant. 3198 posts are available for class 6th to 8th, 18880 posts are available for class 9th to 10th and 18830 posts are available for class 11th to 12th.

In the 2nd stage, 40,000 vacancies which are still vacant after the final result of class 11th-12th and 9th-10th will be added to the pre-planned vacancies which are 70,000. For this time, candidates will get only 12 days to submit the application. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website of BPSC from time to time
