Bihar Anganwadi Sevika and Sahaika Salary Increment Update 2023

2.15 Lakh Anganwadi sevika and Sahaika working in 38 districts of Bihar's payscale will increase by 10%. sevika and Sahaika will get the benefit of Rs.590 to Rs.650. The Social Welfare Department has sent the proposal to the Council of State Ministers. After the State Government's decision, sevika and Sahaika payscale will be increased.

According to the Information, 1.14 lakh Anganwadi Centres are currently working in 38 districts. In these Centres with 2.15 lakh sevika and Sahaika, 25 lakh students are also studying. Anganwadi sevika and Sahaika have been requested by the Government for more than three years but there was no response from the Government side.

Due to this four main organization of Anganwadi sevika and Sahaika is doing Agitation from 29 September 2023. Finally, the Government is going to accept their demand.
