National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), New Delhi has recently invited application for Principal (Group 'A') for its Regional Institute of Education, Ajmer, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mysuru and Shillong on a tenure basis for a period of five years, extendable for another term of five years on the basis of performance assessment by a Committee constituted by the NCERT. Upper Age Limit- 60 years as on the closing date of receipt of application.

Essential Qualification

(i) Ph.D. Degree.

(ii) Professor/ Associate Professor with a total service or experience of 15 years of teaching/ research in Universities, Colleges or other Institutions of Higher Education.

(iii) A minimum of 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed Journals.

(iv) A minimum of 110 research score.

Pay Scale- Rs.37,400-67,000/- with AGP of Rs.10,000/-

Application Fee- Rs.100/- (There will be No Application Fee for SC/ST/PH/Women/Council Employees).

Selection Process- The selection will be made on the basis of qualifications and interview.
