UP Government Colleges 562 Assistant Professor Bharti 2024

There will be recruitment for 562 posts of assistant professor (lecturer) in 171 Government colleges of the state. The online proposal for 23 subjects has been sent to Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC). 

For recruitment, approval has already been given by the Government for the guidelines of the Screening Examination. UPSSSC will start the selection process as soon as possible. Directorate of Higher Education, UP sent the offline proposal for 384 posts on 28 Apr 2022. After that, the Commission has asked to send the information of all vacant positions online. Presently, there are 2414 assistant professors working in different Government colleges of Uttar Pradesh. 

The proposal, which was sent by the Directorate of Higher Education, UP has 65 posts of Commerce, 47 posts of English, 43 posts of Sociology, 41 posts of Chemistry, 41 posts of Hindi, 37 posts of Economics, 33-33 posts of Zoology, Math & Physical Education, 29 posts of Political Science, 23 posts of History and 22 posts of Geography.
