Central Power Research Institute (CPRI) is an autonomous Society under the Ministry of Power engaged in Research and Development in the fields of generation, transmission, distribution and operation of electricity supply systems released recruitment for the post of Engineering Assistant, Technician, Assistant, Stenographer and MTS. Post Name- Engineering Assistant, Technician, Assistant, Stenographer and MTS

Total Posts- 25 (Engineering Assistant- 6, Technician- 7, Assistant- 5, Stenographer- 3, MTS- 4)

Age- Max 30/35/45/48 yrs as on 05.04.2021.

Education Qualification- Engineering Degree/ Diploma/ Graduation in Relevant Area With the Required Experience/Skills (Computer Typing 30 WPM in English for Stenographer) or Qualification as per the requirement of the post.

Pay Scale- Rs.35400- 112400/ Rs.21700- 69100/ Rs.25500- 81100/ Rs.18000- 56900 (according to the post).

For Engineering Assistant, Technician Gr.2, Assistant Gr. II, Stenographer grade III- Rs.200

For MTS Gr.1(Watchman) (Reserved for Ex-servicemen)- NIL

SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen/Women candidates and CPRI Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of fees.

Selection Process- The eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for OMR based MCQ Test. The final selection will be based on their performance in MCQ test and academic merit.

Important Points

The number of vacancies notified in the advertisement is subject to change depending upon the actual requirement at the time of selection.

CPRI reserves the right to change (cancel/modify/add) any of the criteria, method of selection with or without assigning any reason.

The probation Period for all the posts will be initially for a period of 2 years. 

Before submitting the application online, candidates should have the following things-

  • Scanned copy of recent passport size color photograph of the candidate with white back ground.
  • Scanned signature of the candidate.
  • Scanned copies of SSLC/SSC/Matric Certificate/Degree Certificates/ Diploma/ ITI Trade certificate & Marks card, experience certificate, Caste Certificate, NOC, Discharge Certificate, Ex-servicemen ID card as applicable in PDF format.

Reserved category candidates will get the relaxation in age limit as per govt rule.

Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate Online Application form for each post.

Online applications once registered will not be allowed to be withdrawn and the application fee once paid will not be refunded.
